Cornwall Centre for Volunteers Set to be Victorious

Cornwall Centre for Volunteers Set to be Victorious

Cornwall Centre for Volunteers (CCfV) has just started a journey of re-branding with help from Aawen Design Studio. In an area which is of growing importance locally and nationally, it has been recognised that a refreshed approach is required. Engaging local people in their communities and in the delivery of public services is becoming crucial as Cornwall faces challenging yet exciting times addressing issues such as
Climate Change, the economic slowdown and ever more demands
on the public purse.
Adrian Taylor, a director of Aawen said, "At Aawen we have a long association with the voluntary sector, being members of Business in the Community, Pro-Help scheme. I have seen the increasing necessity for these organizations to develop a higher visibility within the community from which they need to encourage people to give up their time, especially when daily demands on the publics free time increases from a multitude of arenas, such as work, children, sport, etc. We are delighted that we can play our part in bringing to the fore an organization which will not only benefit those less fortunate than ourselves, but aid in the development of the personal skills and self esteem to those those who give their time."
Aawen won the bid from a highly competitive field earlier in September and are now in discussions with the CCfV to find the perfect title with which they can bring the brand forward, hoping to launch in the early part of 2009.
