Cornwall Air Ambulance

Cornwall Air Ambulance was the first of its kind to be set up in the UK and since 1987 has attended over 21000 call outs. Touching the lives of many thousands of people, this iconic charity has become a essential lifeline time and again.
In 2008, Aawen were commissioned to design a leaflet to encourage people to leave a legacy to the charity in their will. These legacy donations are a vital contributor to the funding of the charity, enabling it to continue its pivotal role in the care of the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Since the success of that first leaflet, Aawen have continued to help with a number of other design projects including: exhibitions displays, flags, posters, folders, general leaflets, raffle tickets, vouchers, advertisements, stationery, packaging cards plus a 2009 calendar that was specifically created to help generate direct income. Whilst we have not updated the Charity's logo, which has been around for many years, we have tried to modernise and standardise the promotional and display literature to help with brand awareness and convey a modern, forward-looking style. By standardising the fonts, colour pallet, imagery and graphic layout we have given the literature and displays a unity and strength, which has gained an evolutionary momentum in its style, which in turn, will help the Charity covey each message clearly and effectively when broadcast.
Aawen are proud of our association with this fantastic organisation and would encourage everyone to support them in any way you can.

"Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust has been working with Aawen Design since 2008. They immediately grasped the key messages that our charity needs to communicate, and have also helped us to sensitively modernise our branding which the public still recognize as ours, but also gives our displays and new stationery a more contemporary feel.  We feel their advice on de-cluttering our advertising, and adopting a "less is more" theme throughout our artwork and design, whilst keeping respect for some the traditional elements of our charity brand, demonstrates their cleverness in achieving what we wanted as a customer."
